Lists & reusable snippets
Keep project text and everyday replies together so you can reuse them with less searching.
Give repeat text a home
Lists group reusable text snippets. Use a separate list for a project, a recurring task, or a set of everyday responses. Clear names make the right list easier to recognize.
- 1Create a list for a specific purpose.
- 2Add the text snippets you want to reuse.
- 3Choose a snippet, copy it, and paste it into your intended destination.
- 4Review the text before sending so names and context are correct.
Build a small, useful collection
A project introduction, a follow-up message, and a sign-off are good starting points. Keep each snippet focused on a single purpose rather than saving one long document for every situation.
For a template with changing fields, consider a Prompt with fill-in variables instead.
Use persistent item shortcuts
Shortcuts are assigned to individual items and persist with those assignments. Do not infer a shortcut from an item’s position in the list. Inspect the assignment in Pastree before relying on it.
Browser or operating-system shortcuts may conflict. If an assigned shortcut does not work, use the item directly and review your browser’s extension shortcut controls.
Back up your lists
Lists are stored in local browser extension storage. They are included in the main JSON backup together with clipboard history and settings. Keep exported backups somewhere you trust; snippets may contain private text.
