Attach a saved file to an upload form
Store your résumé once, then add it to any application without opening a file browser.
Before you start
- Pastree is installed and pinned to your toolbar.
- Your file is a PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, MD, RTF, ODT, or image, up to 20 MB.
Add a file
- 1Open the Files tab, or press ⌥3 (Alt+3 on Windows).
- 2Drop your file on the Files tab, or choose Add File.
- 3It appears in the list. Use Preview to check it or Rename to give it a clear name.
Attach it to a page
- 1Open the application page with the upload field.
- 2In Files, choose Attach on the file you want.
- 3Click the upload area on the page. The file is attached.

The first time you attach, Pastree may ask for access.
If attaching doesn’t work
Attaching works with standard file inputs and drop zones, including forms inside embedded frames. Some sites build uploads in ways an extension can’t reach.

Tips
- Keep a one-page and a full-length résumé side by side.
- Switch to thumbnail view to tell versions apart at a glance.
- You can store up to 50 files. Remove old versions to keep the list short.
